Anyone leave theirs hooked up over the winter? I normally take mine off, but now I can park it close to the house and leave it on house power.

Yes, that’s what deep cycles prefer. Trojan T-1275 over here.

I removed our battery and store it inside, throwing it on a charger once a month to keep it fresh.

It gets to be -20 to -30 on a regular basis here during the winter. If I lived in CA, I'd leave it hooked up and plugged in via the trailer power.

Exactly what I’d do if I lived in that cold ass climate. A fully charged battery shouldn’t freeze until around those negative temps, but I wouldn’t chance it either. I’ve was trained to not store batteries directly on cold concrete either, bad stuff happens.

Yeah, I heard that too. I put mine in the shop on my paint shelf or on 2x4 slats on the ground

Thanks everyone. I think I will keep doing what I normally do and take them inside and put them on a charger every-so-often.

I do the wood planks as well.
