So, I've been wanting to 'level' out the Tundra. Debated on going with a leveling kit, but after some extensive reading and research, I've decided to pull the trigger on a suspension upgrade instead. I'm going with the Bilstein 5100 series: Ride Height Adjustable on the front (part# 24-232173) and standard 5100 on the rear (part# 24-186971). Ordered from AutoAnything.com at $376.00 with FREE shipping! From what I've seen, this seems like a very good price to me. I've also got a good mechanic who has agreed to install for $320.00. Total package price of $696.00 seems fair and reasonable to me.

I'm thinking the suspension upgrade will definitely accomplish my goal of eliminating the factory rake, and give me a much smoother ride at the same time.

    Thoughts???

I've had mine for approximately a month now, middle setting. I like the stance it's given the truck, I can't say the ride is any smoother then stock but it's definitely not any worse .
