Winch suggestion and Bed Step?

Hi All -

I am the proud owner of a 2019 TRD 4X4 Crew Max - bought in April (Cement). This is my first pickup so please be easy on the noob.

I see comments and recommendation for different winch brands, wireless ? etc, and am really turned about on the entire subject. I plan to use the truck for ranch type work when we move to Colorado. Can someone please guide me towards a decent winch that will be used for working? I may need to haul myself out of a ditch but that's a side bar to its intended use. I'm in Los Angeles area - so finding a shop to install here should be easier here that in the wilds of CO - need recommendation for that too.

Also - the Bed Step that is a $275.00 option when purchasing new - is not easily available later on. My dealership quoted almost $1,000 to install the other day. Is there an easier way to get this step? Jeez.
