Hey gang, I just got this rig (2019 Tundra TRD Pro) was trying out all the features and such. Got that annoying lane departure thing to stop beeping. But anyways, I went to put the the 4x4 options into play. 4 high was no problem, just turn the switch from 2wd to 4H while running under the recommended max speed and everything went good. Now to 4 Low. OK, here where I got into trouble. So I slow the truck down (almost to a dead stop) and shift to "Neutral" and flip the switch from 4H to 4 LOW. The 4 Low light starts blinking yet nothing is engaging. Stupid me the truck is still rolling a bit and boom do I hear something go clunk. So I am guessing the truck has to be at a full stop with the brake on to shift to 4 Low? Crap I hope I didn't breaks anything?? I cycled it through all the gears and such. (4L-4H-2WD) everything seems fine.

Anyone else do such a thing and had problems after?????

It's been a while since I engaged the 4wd in a Tundra (haven't even used mine in my new truck lol). However, there is a card on the sun visor that goes into detail on it I believe.

With FOOT ON BRAKE. (<--this is the part I forgot)
Stopped & neutral is mandatory for 4L and so is the brake pedal.

Welcome. Did you come to a complete stop to go from 4 high back to2 wd drive? Or can you roll in 4 high then go back to 2 wd drive driving. Just wondering
