Sorry but wheel swap tpms question again. I have 2019 platinum wheels. Looking to buy trd off road wheels from a 2017.

    1. Can I move my tpms sensors to the new trd wheels?

    2. Will the physical fit of sensors be ok?

    3. Can i change the color of the stem/nut thingy to black?

    Question 1 and 2.
Yes, you can move your sensors.
Sensors from the alloys will swap over to other alloys.
Steel wheel sensors will not fit the alloys.
I don't know if OEM toyota alloy sensors would fit a steel wheel as I've never tried. Generally speaking most people would consider going from alloy wheels to steelies would be a downgrade which is why I've never tried.

I have not seen a TPMS rebuild kit for a Toyota sensor that includes a black nut. The stem and sensor is one piece so the stem cannot be replaced. If you really want the stem and nut black you would probably have to paint them yourself.

Oh wait, no, no, no. The '19's & '20's are different. Check with dealer. I think there's a post here about that. 2018+ TPMS are 7 digit and work on different frequency than 2017 TPMS which are 8 digit.

He wants to transfer his original sensors to the new wheels.
    It will work just fine.
    Nothing groundbreaking there.

Now if were were talking about using the 19 or 20 sensors on the 17 then we would advise against it due to known incompatibility of the sensor frequencies and operating parameters.

Anybody have a link to the black valve stem nut? I'm placing an order on cools springs soon anyway and I cannot find it.
