I did the badges too, I figured for $5 a can, who cares. Makes such a big difference on the Cavalry Blue color over that tacky chrome.

Absolutely...I couldn’t find blacked out “Platinum” badges anywhere so I dipped them as well...best part is if ya don’t like it just peel it off and start over, love this stuff

Are those aftermarket rear mudflaps? I'm looking for rear flaps that'll work with my fender flares, don't think the factory ones will...

    I have this antenna also...
    reception is definitely reduced.
BUT like a lot of people, I really don't listen to the radio anymore.
    (podcasts, streaming, MP3s, etc.)
The short antenna is a great solution to low-overhang parking ramps where the stock antenna continually PINGS with each overhead support it passes.
Plus...the short antenna just looks cool. :)

Plug and play install. Remove grill, unbolt old horn, plug in new horn to stock wire and add ground wire to mounting bolt.

Marginal difference. I wanted the red to match the TRD sway bars and I powdercoated my tow hooks also.

    New shoes!
I was going to go with the Cooper XLT or AT3 But they didn’t have them available today. I really wanted to save the money but all they had in stock were the BFG KO2s. Probably should’ve waited till tomorrow and saved myself either 20 bucks a tire or up to 70 depending on which Cooper I went with. But then I started thinking I’ve never had a set of BFG‘s and the fact that they are always available seem to be a good decision if I need to warranty it out of town on a trip. Went with 275/70r18. So far I really liked the ride home. Didn’t seem to lose too much power to the wheels. Damn things are like butter until you get the oil worn off of them LOL. It was hard to keep the tire from spinning when I left the tire shop.

also got some new shoes on the Sequoia so my daughters safe this rainy season. Went with the Cooper Discover HTP. Nice looking tire, looks like it will do well in icy conditions as well as wet.

You'll be happy with the BFG'S. That's all I've ran since I was 18, 41 now. What size did you get?

    Ahh Forgot to mention 275/70r18
I’ll be 41 in February. I’ve had so many different cars and I’ve tried tons of different types. I did like a set of NIttos I had but they were street tires. Also some Yokohama Geolander‘s were pretty sweet I had on a previous truck.

I’ve got 2 inches lift in the front with the TRD pro suspension and about an inch in the back with coachbuilder shackles. These are 33 inch, “275” 70 r18 but from my knowledge, 275’s (33s) will fit on a stock tundra with no lift.

I sure am loving the way it turned out! Funny I buy tires for my wife or my daughter and they drive the car home and never think about it again. My daughter did say it drives really nice and smooth. But it’s just funny that I’m out here admiring all of our tires like an idiot. And they can just walk away and never think about it again. Must be nice!059BD73E-510A-49BB-A431-9F9665DF569C.jpg

They sure are a handsome tire.I was a little disappointed in how much weights they put on the rims of three of them. As long as it drives smooth I’ll be happy. I need to get it out on the highway.

I didn’t think for the price they should be that far out. One of them only has 2 1/4 ounce weights. If I have a problem with them feeling good out on the highway, you can be damn sure I will be back there having them fix it one way or another.

Looks good. I just put a set of the trd off-road wheels on mine, stock shitty tires, gonna put BFG'S on real soon. My wife's Tahoe and my son's 1st Gen Tacoma have BFG ko2s. My 20's have BFG'S.

    Exactly the same thing!!

Got my wife’s tires a week before mine. She didn’t even notice there was a different tire on her car. I waited a week to tell her, she responded “oh yea I though something looked different on the car”

She still hasn’t noticed mine and we don’t use her car sat/sun, and it will be a month in a few days.
And it’s not like I went with the same tire (stock to falken wildpeaks) so they look totally different.

Admire on fellow idiot (you said it not me)... I’m right there with you!
