Looks great. What's on your Leer roof rails?

I loaded my winter gear into the truck box and put some grip tape down on the door sill so everyone won’t slip. Pics of that are stupid, so I’ll give you one of the rain on the fresh wax. This is about as sexy as it gets in the automotive world IMO....

Yeah, I still need to get my truck up to par. I might hire it out. I really just have no skill, time, or space for it.

The Leer topper did not come with the roof rack rails. I used my '16 DC bed rail system and made the cross bar out of 2x4 aluminium tubing. 3M double adhesive molding tape, to help bond and seal bolt holes sandwiching the fiberglass topper and using a 1" aluminium flat bar extending the length of the rails. So fat it'be been great. I may have had a total of 10K lbs loaed on top of it this year alone.

Also installed a drop kit for the plate because the Differential is dropped. More to come as I have an order in for a SS 6” Dirty Deeds. Also trying to decide on keeping the Pro Grill above or change it to the 2019 Pro Grill.

It’s a bracket I bought from ARES on this site. It works at times. I think it needs to be angled down a bit more or lift it in the rear about a 1/2”.

Bilstein 6112 front coilovers @2.5”. Bilstein 5100 rear shocks with toytec shackles @1”. 20x9. Xd grenade wheels with 295/60/20 ridge grapplers. Tinted windows. Gibson single side dual exhaust.
Yesterday I did 6112s @2.5” up front and 5110s out back with toytec shackles set at 1.5 inches leaving a hair of rake for towing. Absolutely love it.

I agree. Some colors pull the chrome off just fine, and others look better blacked out or color matched.

I hear ya, my bed is filled with tools and I tow a 16 ft tandem trailer filled with firewood. Probably not as heavy as the dump trailer filled but still pretty heavy, shit between my hitch and each tire weighing damn near 80 lbs each, weight was never a real concern in my build. The only part on it that I took weight as a consideration was in my wheel choice to help offset the tires. Besides that, I'm pretty damn heavy.

I also live up big hills/mountain. Even though Jersey isn't exactly known for it's height, I'm up there. Not quite the elevation of High Point, but still up there. Summers get pretty hot here but it's not year round. I daily drive, both on and off road a bit, and put the truck to work. So I'd probably say our uses for the truck are somewhat similar. I'm certainly not beating it everyday but it does get used like a truck.

While your thoughts are not a bad idea or consideration, and certainly wouldn't hurt, I'm not so sure it's something you really need to worry about. I'd say if it's something you're really worried about, then go for it and get to cutting, if you're on the fence hopefully explaining my situation and uses can help put you at ease if you don't feel like cutting.

With that being said, from about 10k-50k miles so far, I have yet to have any issues with this truck. I'll still knock on wood though even though it's a Toyota.

That moment when you are almost done putting stock mirrors back on and you drop a 10mm flange nut inside the door and you spend 1 hour magnet fishing only to find out that it's two stamped pieces of metal so you decide to accept the loss that the nut now belongs to the truck.

We shall see how well my plastidip job holds up through the winter. I sprayed right over the factory chrome caps back in September.
