Sorry you have to deal with this. Just remember that what goes around comes around. Had someone smash my truck window a few years ago, except they missed on the first swing and hit/dented the door skin. Stupid degenerates aren’t even good at stealing..

Sorry bud...that just sucks. I keep all my valuables, including anything with my home address, in a console lock box. Still, that doesn’t stop the degenerate from trying.

    Amen to that one!! :mad::mad:

Happened twice to me on an old Chevy. Cost over $2500 in body shop repairs due to damage to door.

Sorry this happened to you. I just wish I could catch someone doing this .. but then I would have to carry barbed wire around instead of my (Glock, Smith, Ruger, ....). :)

I'm thinking just the opposite, I have my NRA Life sticker on the back and an NRA Life sticker on the side window. Crooks need to know what they are playing with when they touch my property. Hopefully they can read English. Had NRA stickers on the last two trucks as well, they were never broken into after the stickers were put on. One was stolen, but that was before I had put my NRA stickers on it.

This sucks big time. In some parts of the world, they cut off your fingers for stealing, in places like CA, it's a misdemeanor and the crooks know it and you can guess what kind of deterrent that is. I am not advocating cutting off fingers, but when you are damaging and stealing someone else's hard earned property it should be treated more seriously. Crime shouldn't pay.

When I was on the road for work, I was always thinking I should get a GoPro set it up looking out the window at my truck just because of something like this.

Well that's infuriating. Most thieves are opportunists, so it seems like one of the only things you can do is leave absolutely nothing out inside your vehicle that might tempt them. Ex-gf learned the hard way one night when she left an mp3 player laying on her seat and they smashed her window right in the driveway of our apartment.

Hotel parking lots seem to be a magnet for thieves. I always try to park strategically but even that isn't a guarantee I won't be hit. If I'm on the ground floor I'll park right outside my window so I can keep an eye on the truck.

That’s a bummer man the same thing happened to me while I was at work shortly after buying my truck. They didn’t even take anything just smashed my widow and moved on. People certainly do suck.

I never considered this. I have a Glock decal on my rear window. I never leave my carry in my truck though.

A lot of people work very hard for their things, like nice looking tundras when you have scum bags like this. Just makes your skin boil sometimes.

This sucks hard. Glad you're ok. on a side note... how did the entire window end-up getting pulled out? looks like a single entry hole, then it seems like the entire window ended up getting ripped out. wonder how they pulled that off.

again, really sorry this happened to you.

Why do they target the pretty trucks? Don't they know that if you have spent money on a nice rig, and mods, there's nothing left to steal cuz it was all spent on the truck? Idiots.

By the way, you need to submit your truck (Profile pic) for the Calendar.

I have many stickers I’d love to put on my truck. But it would make it a target for all kinds of people. Crooks are just one group of people. Another are those that like to damage things because your beliefs/politics don’t align with theirs. Just driving a truck in my area can make you a target.

I’m not sure how they did it exactly, but you’re correct. There was a small square punched out and on my passenger seat. Then the rest was pulled out (scratching my door on the way down...). Thanks though, she’s all fixed up now. Just had to make the best of it!

Lol. You’re correct about having nothing of value after the endless mods. And I did submit!

Exactly this. Stickers go on my gun safe NOT on my truck. I have a bunch of little stuff in my truck but my gun & iPod are never left in it. Even with the Viper alarm that pages me when someone so much as leans on my truck, things can malf and you can’t watch them all the time.
