    - A lot of file updates being sent out today for custom tuning customers.

Very happy to see that we are getting a lot more people grabbing harrop kits and doing their harrop tuning with us :).

We will be swapping the smallest harrop pulley onto our truck soon, ~10-11 psi. going to get crazy

Might you be able to comment on the status of the revised data logger? While there's a quiet period (on our end) during your move, there's still the opportunity for us to send you data.

Not in my future unless something happens. I am preparing for retirement and a SC does not sound like it will feed me once the money disappears

I got in on this thread as an early adopter and to give an honest and forthright review of the product. Lately I just come here looking for updates from Matt/OVTune. I imagine once my truck is dialed in and I have given it a final glowing review I will un-subscribe and you wont here from me again in this thread.

It is good to see progress being made, and I'm sure I as well as most others will like the additional tweaks. That said...All I want to do is start my truck, shift into D and press the tow haul button and head off into the sunset. I do not want or need a long multi step take off process and be stuck working the shifter when I want to tow/haul something, which is 75+ % of what my truck does. If I am going to be forced to move the shifter around while driving it better also have a clutch like my GT500 and Cobra's. My concern here is this tune will become overly complicated, and as an engineer I was taught to always keep it simple. If it is going to be a one size fits most it need's to be simple and functional as originally described. If this is evolving into a semi-custom tune platform then all bets are off as it will require more work on each tune from OVTune as each owner is going to want some features and not want others.

I came to OV for both better fueling and overall drivability when towing and simply driving the truck. Get in...start truck...select tow/haul and go. NOT get in, scroll through maps 1-3, select map, engage tow/haul?, select S mode and pretend I'm driving a manual every time I start and stop my truck at the house, on the road, at the boat ramp...campground...etc...

Yes, I requested Gear Lock as described tied to S mode in tow/haul originally as I figured it may be handy to have every now and again...pulling a boat up a steep ramp or holding a gear at highway speed while towing. That said after my last revision in late August it seem's partially tied to tow/haul mode and annoys the hell out of me as it shifts up by itself(holds the gear in 3&4th too long when towing), but it then hold's the higher gear and does not want to shift down pulling hills forcing the engine below powerband and lugging it. In its current configuration it forces me to either tow my stuff in regular drive mode or use tow/haul+S mode and pretend it is a manual. Again...If I am going to be forced to move the stick all of the time it better have a clutch :(

Really looking forward to the new revised shift points and load index stuff and seeing this SC tune's final version so I can then forget about it and simply drive the damn truck for the next 10 years This tune even with its current flaws is head and shoulders above the BD tune I was running before...I was always wondering if I mashed the gas was I going to burn it up :). I do have confidence this will be the go to tune for the Toyota/Tundra community long term. I suppose I'm just growing a bit tired of the pre-release process as I started with OV back in May and was thinking I would have my truck dialed in and be done messing around with it by now. Between that and the long wait's between emails...logs...revisions...any communication at all it seem's. I wait yet again since sending my last logs in September to get the shifting sorted and gear lock to not interfere with the towing tune.

I have also emailed you since I sent the last set of logs in but will ask you here as well...OVTune...Any update, estimated ETA for my next revision hopefully fixing the issues I have described? If I have to drop the gear lock feature to get what I want from my truck at this time I am ok with that as well. I think there may have been some miss-communication a few months ago and hope we got that sorted. If not I will describe again what I want.
I start truck ->Normal Tune. I start truck + Tow/Haul button ->Tow Tune. Gear Lock to ONLY interfere if/when S mode is engaged.

Thank you for the review on the current status :)

what you have outlined is what is going to be, at least in part, in our final patch. It's not the same stuff as the tacoma guys. There simply isn't enough space in the ECU for all of that.
The Tundra will have 2 map modes (which already exist), S mode for gearlock, and some other patch updates we have been working on and discussing.

We definitely do not want this to turn into a revolving door of patching and updates, which is why the one we are going to outline on friday is the final patch

I go to that thread just for entertainment. I'm sure when the natives are restless, it's not very entertaining for you though.

I'm glad you decided the tundra needed to be tuned!

So, if I have tow/haul on and just in normal drive mode (not s mode), and I mash the gas, it will shift normally but with more power? Or is gear lock somehow turned on when still in drive but with tow/haul on?
