The wiring for my rear view mirror was cut when I purchased the truck. So Re joined the 3 wires together with electrical tape and connected it back in the mirror. After that I realize the previous only had did it for a reason. I lost the ability to lock and unlock the doors with the buttons or my remote. So I disconnected the wiring and I think it crossed and touched each other. Now I have no abs, 4 wheel drive system, the speedometer garage, ac, heat, airbags, my shifter is locked in park, there is more that I have not mentioned. I need your guys help?

I did not. Not too much of a car guy! The truck is 2007. Would I just need to check and replace fuses or would it be a bigger problem like the computer or what not?

Disconnect the negative lead from the battery. Let it sit for a few minutes and reconnect the negative lead. Hopefully that will clear your errors.

If not, head to auto-zone (or similar) and have them pull any error codes with their OBDC reader.

Did you ever discover the problem. I have the same issue. My obd2 code reader is saying it’s not communicating with the ecm. Thinking I damaged the ecm
