I had enough fumbling over the tools and equipment in the bed of my 1794 service truck. I researched different types of slide out beds and went with the BEDSLIDE 1500. 4 hours after delivery the bedslide was installed. After my first service call with this wonderful invention, my buyer's remorse was instantly gone.

Looks good! I was looking into the decked system but with a bed cover you only have a few inches left for things on top, they are better for a truck with a cap. This seems like a good alternative.

How much height does the bedslide add to the truck bed? Considering this, but in conjunction with a topper want to be able to roll the slider in/out with bicycles mounted (using a fork mount with front wheel off). Trying to decide how tall of a topper would I need if I go with the BedSlide.

The bed slide adds 4" without the rails

@pop's do you have to drill into the bed to install this?
