Recently purchased a great, clean 2012 Tundra with 195,000 miles on it. I noticed the fan for the a/c occasionally doesn’t work. It’s inconsistent, it usually works fine, then sometimes it doesn’t, and if I hit a bump or wait, it will kick back on. During warmer days I could turn off recirculating and the outside air would come in cold. Thoughts on how I can fix it?

I checked it — it’s electrical in some way. I can turn the nob and nothing comes on.

I too am having this exact issue. There is no rhyme or reason as to when it happens. My truck has 143000 miles and this has happened 2 times in about the last 300 miles. I wish I had an answer but plan to take it to get a brake issue looked at and while there will have them check this out also. I’ll post if I get a definitive answer.
