    Hi guys,

I am planning to buy the TRD cat back exhaust system to install on my 16 tundra.
On the stock exhaust, I see there are two nuts/bolts right after the catalytic converter that welded in. How do you un-weld it? Or how do you take the bolts out?

    Thanks.

Put a 14mm socket on the bolt (the back side) and they comes right out. If it’s more than a couple years old or has seen salt you might need PB blaster to loosen them up.

You sure you wanna run dual exhaust behind a set of stock exhaust manifolds?

ive tested literally hundreds of exhaust systems for tundras and have found that you lose considerable low end torque with dual exhaust behind stock exhaust manifolds (regardless of internet testimonials)

that said, we make a single exhaust for use behind stock exhaust manifolds that uses the stock tailpipe. This is key to maximizing low end torque in our trucks.

    call for details.
