I'm cheap, so i'm keeping an eye on craigslist/facebook for a 2nd hand set of step bars for my 2015. My question is: are there any other trucks that would fit?

Also, what's the difference between step bars, nerf bars, and running boards?

    Thanks

I really didn’t want my truck to come with a running board when I first purchased it but the dealer said all trucks come standard with it. My plan was to buy and install the AMP Research power step. Really expensive but worth every penny. I saved $300 because I installed it myself. These power steps makes my truck look sexier than ever. I would recommend these steps to anyone.

i'm not overly picky, but definitely not bothering with power steps - just want to get rid of my chrome. I see a ton of decent enough used ones off of Fords/Chevy/Ram/Nissan/etc. Just wondering if any of those would fit, or if there are any aftermarket brackets to adapt them...

I started with cheap ones, which lasted about 1 year. iBoards are what I had issues with. Purchased some factory ones off Craigslist and then 3 weeks later someone side swiped the passenger running board. So now I am looking at Westin's. If I ever get them I'll try to remember to come back here and give you my 2 cents. :)

I went with 5" iboard. They're powder coated black and aluminum. They were like $270 Canadian and work great
