Noticed a light came on this am top right. Found out it was the slip indicator light. Came on and off a couple of times. I was on a slick clay road. I looked it up in the manual and it says that one of the systems may be malfunctioning and to take it to the dealer immediately. I find other reports online saying that this is normal. Maybe the manual means if it is on constantl . Not sur .

It's normal for it to come on intermittently if you're on a slicker surface. It's not normal for it to stay on. I have heavily modified suspension and a supercharger. I always drive with mine completely off because the computer controlling VSC doesn't understand the modifications and it will flash on and off all the time. Drives me crazy, so I keep it off.

Ok. Thanks. That's what I was hoping. It's a 2017 new to me and was wondering.

I was going uphill on a winding dry road and there was very little water (coming off the hills) on one section of the road and as I accelerated very gently (if there is such a thing with a V8) in the turn, that blinking red? slippery light came on ... I was pretty impressed that the Tundra didn't fish-tail like my Tacoma does!

I think my light was yellow. It came off and on so fast. I had to look in the manual to see what it was.
