Am I the only one out for sturgeon today?

No you weren't the only one. Had a very long day yesterday. I bank fish , we went 3 locations and no one was catching. No bell ringing just pissed off fisherman. I have caught sturgeon for fun , every weekend until about 2 weeks ago. Last year me and my boy both got ours. This year's fishing in general has been a wash. Just a bit frustrated. Gonna relax today and watch nfl and read posts.

Yep, there were very few being caught yesterday. For us, in Oregon, it was one of only 2 days (out of 365), we will be allowed to keep any sturgeon. 44”-50” slot. I will try again next Saturday (that being the second day we are allowed)

I'm very happy to be living here in S.W. Oregon, living and driving in Seattle was crazy, as it is we will not drive in the Portland area unless we absolutely have to, living and working in Seattle was a nightmare, the only thing I liked about that experience was that it was close to the Cascades where I loved to hike and fish. Thing is we actually have more wildlife around here than any place we've lived before.DSC00005 (1).jpg DSC00003 (1).jpg
