Is there a huge difference between a 2010 Tundra crew cab, Tundra double cab or a crew cab Tacoma gas mileage?

I had a 2012 Tacoma and it was roughly the same which is why I didnt get a Tacoma this time around.

I spend the same and have a bigger truck.
I do miss the features of it though like under seat storage, cubby holes in the box and power inverter

Fuelly.com says 3-4, but yeah, this [above]. I mean, if you don't drive a LOT of miles, it's practically no difference in gas expense over a whole year. I had a Ford Ranger a long time ago, and then moved up to a F-150 when the kids got older: gas was a few dollars difference a tank.

Then, I bought a 2015 4runner Trail Edition for my wife and was like ... yeah, I'm getting a Tundra for me.:D

Depends how you drive, tundra I can’t get over 16mpg. My Tacoma I could get 21 mpg average.

True. And then, do you have a lift, what size tires do you run, etc.

If gas is $2.11/gallon [for instance] and you drive 25,000/year, losing 5 mpg ends up costing you $82 bucks/month or $20.50/week.

    That's all I'm sayin' ...

Not many people drive 25k a yr.
When searching for my truck, anything with that many miles a year was DEFINITELY the outlier from the norm...like 1-2 out of 30 in AZ. (and CA)

Rockstar, the GPM* is well worth the MPG.

EXACTLY my point. If you only drive about 12,500-15,000 miles per year, you're talking 40 - 45 bucks more a month to have more power, more room and more GPM!:taco:

All depends how you drive it. Rarely do I get above 2k rpms and I average about the same mpg that I did in my taco. I get about 3 more mpg than I did in my Avalanche. Tundra gets great mpg for a full size truck with a V8.

Yeah, my daughter lives in LA: she's always complaining about the gas prices there.

And apparently, they hand out parking tickets like candy.
