I know the asshat who delivers and I'd have bitched him out... maninly because I just gave him a 6pack yesterday for being a good dude and I even trust the guy with my garage door code for parts and whatnot. Myself and UPS have a love/hate relationship. They break-I bitch-they cover-I get new parts. Love how that works.

Thanks man. You'd be surprised how many people I get that honk and give me thumbs up for it. Not the reason I got it, but hell, i'll take the compliments if they will give them. I think subliminally it says, I CARRY A WEAPON also lol.

Dang, followed a Tundra home yesterday that was almost identical to mine, except it was a 4x4 and lifted, couldnt tell what size tires, but looks nice. Even already had retrofit headlights like I'm getting in today, ha. Love my truck, but I felt small. I need to get a lift and tires soon!

Well first batch came in damaged and had to send back. New ones are done and shipped. Yesterday it said I'd be getting them today, now I check and it says tomorrow. Haha, so another days wait. Hopefully they will come tomorrow so I can spend Saturday doing the install.

Got the new gas tank skid plate mounted finally. 3/16th-inch stainless steel protection at a little over 50lbs in weight that was very much needed because the OEM plastic was torn up bad.

Yeah, it says on there that they are monitoring winter storms, but from what I know, they haven't hit any area between here and Atlanta, ha. Today or tomorrow doesn't matter because I'd have to wait until Sat anyway. Just hope they do make it tomorrow.

Prep was easy. Washed with dish soap and the hose. Hit it up with brake cleaner. Popped off the Toyota symbol. Hit the whole thing up with 6 coats of duplicolor Ford Red (yeah yeah, I know). The toy symbol hit up with 3 coats of black.

The iForce and 5.7 V8? Well, that there is good old fashioned black Sharpie marker... haha

So the next phase of the LEDs arrived today, now just waiting on the headlamps to be completed and returned. Very excited. I'll be trying to do half of these today while at work, so I can snap a side by side photo at night for the difference the LEDs make.

All interior, license plate lights, reverse lights and the bed/brake lights to be swapped out.
Will also need to work around the weather as it's been squalling and bitter cold.

These are the days I wish I had a garage.

Oh also, I plan on working on that Raptor look-a-like amber light project down the road, so I got the lights now for that and will get the rest of the wiring soon.

Lol got it installed during lunch break. Went for a ride an noticed the improvement right away. Does everything look right? Seems like on some I see it is tilted up a little more. I guess that would depend on the trucks lift etc. Wondering if I should have had it powdercoated black but atleast now I have an excuse to upgrade my bilsteins to some TRD Pro or Toytec shocks! Atleast the red matches the tails and the "TRD" logo on the rims.

Thanks for the pic. Guess thats why mine appears to sit a little lower in the back than most of the rest that I see. No lift on my truck yet just a level. Toytec may be getting a call from me sooner than later now that I need some more red accents. Bigger lift has to mean bigger tires though...what have I gotten myself into.

Is the Taco wheel smaller? What's different about it, other than the obvious sides being textured? What is involved in the swap in regards to the wiring and connectors?
