To the guys that have 18x9 rims and either 275/70/18 or 285/65/18 tires, would you mind checking actual tire measurements? I have 18x9 rims which stretched my stock 275/65/18 down to 31" so I imagine the same thing will happen with the 275/70/18. I am wondering with the wider 285 tire, is it possible that it is bigger than the 275/70/18? I know we are probably only talking half an inch here.......

    Thanks!

I'm running Cooper AT3 XLT 275/70/18's on 18x9 TRD wheels and they measure at 32 1/2" tall and 10 5/8" wide, give or take 1/8".

I thought the standard black and silver TRD rims are 18 x 8? How do you like the Cooper AT3 XLT by the way? They are at the top of my list. Are they reversible or white lettering out only?

My tires seem to be the same going from 18x9 to 18x8.

These are very very slight changes you are bringing up. The eye can’t tell 1/8th in difference in a tire

You're correct, they are 18 x 8. I love my XLT's. I've got about 6k on them and they're wearing like iron, relatively quiet and ride great. My mileage is mostly highway and I haven't had much of a chance to get off road with them but the little bit of rough, muddy roads they've seen they've done extremely well. Exceptional on wet pavement. They are reversible, I've got them black wall out. Still need to black out the white letters even though they're on the inside.
