My SCS Ray10’s arrive this week. Every time I have had new tires installed on any wheel my wheels get scratched. Any special equipment I need to ask shops about or anything I should say to avoid having them scratched? The last time I told a shop to be extra careful my wheels got extra scratched and my TRD center caps tossed on the concrete and cracked. I have the usual tire shops near by....Big O, Discount, Less Scwhab. I saw a corvette pull into Discount and they actually put on white gloves! How do I get the white glove treatment....bring beer?

Before booking ask the manager if they can mount without scratching.

They’ll say yes, then the guy will be read the riot act so they don’t wind up buying rims.

    Alot of them
Most shops should have the plastic shields that go over the bead bars. Discount should be pretty good. I didn't have any issues with them.

I would find a new installer. I have had many tires installed without a scratch until this past Friday and let's just say they're going to have me a new rim the first of the week. Service guy let my wife's wheel fall on its face and screwed it up.

I'm OCD about this on all my vehicles, motorcycles, trailer, wife's vehicle etc... With the exception of motorcycles,"Discount Tire" has always exceeded my expectations regarding mounting and handling cares. Just let them know upfront of your concerns.
