    Hi everyone -

I have a 2017 Tundra Short Bed (5.5'). My job has changed since the purchase, and I end up traveling a lot for work. I want to get a bed cover and a bedslide so I can put luggage, etc. in the bed instead of in the cab. I'm also thinking the 1500# rated bedlside system. I really like the Retrax, but I'm concerned I'm going to lose too much space with the canister since I'm starting with the short bed and second guessing whether I should go to the Bakflip (or similar) so I don't lose that first foot of the bed.

Does anyone have this combo installed already? If so, how do you like it? What are the pros and cons?

    Thanks!
