Received my 10” aluminized system today and made time this afternoon to put it on. I drove it about 15 miles before installing the resonator. The resonator makes it sound 1000% better eliminating all the drone. I do think the resonator tames the output some but in a very good way... it still sounds mean. Thanks Keith!!

It took me about 30 mins to install with the help of my 7 year old girl (minus the resonator.) Had to double wrench the 14mm’s. Once they were broke free the Dewalt easily took care of everything.

Delivered and installed my stainless 8" yesterday. Easy install. Truck has a nice rumble now, although I can still hear the engine over the exhaust at WOT. Hopefully it will break in a bit louder. I have had exhaust systems in the past from "big" companies where fit was good but not great. Not the case here, fit was like factory. Nice work Keith.

I'm heading out of town next Tuesday (10/22) and won't be back until the following Monday (10/28). Worried mine will ship and maybe arrive when I'm gone. Guess its time to notify the neighbors if something big arrives.

Your best bet may be to call Keith and ask if he can ship yours so it arrives on 10/28.

Quick question. Received my 10" Standard system yesterday and installed today. Awesome sound! Now, I did not install the resonator, does the sound outside changes? I've read a couple of posts about how it helps with cabin drone. What would be the main difference for those who have installed the resonator?

My 10” SS arrived on Tuesday and I got it installed yesterday. Didn't install resonator yet as I want to put a few miles on it w/o resonator to see if I can deal with it.

    So far so good.

I'm doing the same here. Just wanted to know if there will be a real difference with the resonator.

In my experience, the resonator tames the noise (including start-up) quite a bit and eliminates all the drone. Don't get me wrong, the system still screams when you get on it but with a light foot it is hard to tell you have custom exhaust which is what I was looking for.

This is the exact reasoning I used in selecting the 6" stainless.
I will, for sure, install the resonator immediately as I am not interested in drone... AT ALL.
But, I also wanted to hear my custom exhaust independent of right foot action!

Now I’m starting to rethink my order of a 8” system. I didn’t want it to be unnoticeable at idle.

I’m not until the 5th or 6th wave. I’ll put in a call to Keith tomorrow and see what his input will be.
For those with a 6” and resonator is it obnoxiously loud at cruise and idle ? Also how about towing ?
    WOT I don’t care. :bikewheelie:

    Stock for now...
Sooo... Fedex decided to completely lose my 30lb large box in shipping. It left Friday the 11th, and got lost on Monday the 14th never to be seen again. So bummed! I opened a complaint ticket with FedEx and they called me back saying it's not at the origination depot and not at the hub after a physical inventory... so WHICH ONE of you buttmunches intercepted my box and has it on their truck????:(:annoyed:

Seriously, I was so excited to install it this weekend... but now it'll just be quieter for awhile.

Report: This morning I Installed the 8”- SS BAM system including resonator. It took me an 1 hour and 1/2 , by myself. In retrospect I think I might of went with the 6” incher. However it does sound good and the resonator kicks A. You definitely notice the deep growl sound with the system which I was after. It’s going to be a good add to my rig.

I feel your pain. Same thing here. FedEx sent a notice on the 11th. But it never changed status. Call Keith and Terry looked into it. It just disappeared. Terry said they would have to build a new one and would ship tomorrow. I too wanted to install it this wkend. Now I have to wait until next wkend.

Have my system 100% installed now. And so far here’s what I think:

Main system was a super easy install, took me about 30 mins. Resonator was not installed yet. Sounded a little quieter than I thought it would at first, but after about 20-30 miles it got loud and mean! Sounded great! I was on the fence between 8” vs 10”, I went with 8” and I’m really glad I did. On the freeway with no resonator it was a little louder than I wanted, I wanted quiet, but I could deal with it. I filled my tank up with gas, hand calculated mpgs and they dropped by about 1.5, did I mention it sounds badass when you step on the gas? Hahahahaha!!

So today I installed the resonator. I have a newfound respect for stainless steel pipe. I broke 1 hole saw and 2 jigsaw blades made for metal. Went to Lowe’s, bought a $15 jigsaw blade made for stainless and it cut it like butter. Resonator went on easily after that. Wow, I’m surprised how much quieter the system is with the resonator installed. I’m personally very happy with it. When cruising and light-footing it it’s just noticeable, like a wolf in sheep’s clothes. But when I hit the pedal it’s full wolf mode! Also the highway noise is gone.

Overall I couldn’t be happier and I’m really glad I got this deal. Really thankful that @dirtydeeds talked me into the 8”.

    Stoked!!!

I was on the fence between 6" & 8". I went with the 8". So far I have it installed without the resonator, kinda wishing I had gone with the 6". The exhaust sounds great, and has a nice rumble at low rpm's. But at WOT I feel like all I hear is Engine. Could just be me, but if I was to do it again I would go 6" for sure. Going on a road trip this weekend, maybe it will break in louder, will report back. Just posting this for the guys that are on the fence, if it isnt too late to change and you want aggressive...Id go 6". Just my opinion.
