Help on a Northstar battery.

    Looking to buy a Northstar battery for my 2018 CM.. Can anybody tell me what size to get and what battery clamp would go with it? Thanks so much TUNDRA FAM!!

    Unless things have changed with the Gen 2.5 (since 2013 models) it'll take an NSB-AGM-27F and just use the clamps/cables on the truck now.

    I don't believe any larger/heavier batteries will fit.
    Given the weight, massive CCA, reserve, etc I seriously doubt you can find a larger battery that will outperform the Northstar 27F. I you find one.. Let us know.

    Several of us have Group 31’s installed. I’d say that’s as big as you can go before you’re looking at a dual set up. For the 31 I installed the rago tray also.

    If you don't put stress on your Tundra's systems from towing a boat/camper or hauling the mother in law around and you just drive it short distances and because you like the way you look in it, you can even go with a 24F series. Just make sure that whatever you get...get AGM! Spend
    the extra shekel for AGM...more piece of mind. Just sayin'...
