The blower motor is making a ticking sound, I think it's going out. Does anyone have a recommended blower motor? I want the best one available, but I see them as low as $50.00 to $130.00.
Anyone have experience in replacing, or upgrading the blower motor?

Its a easy replacement, drops out from under the glove box, only has a few screws holding it in and the harness connector needs to be disconnected. My blower motor on my 2015 just started making the same ticking sound at 70k, but I’m sure it’s not going to die anytime soon.

Thank you 915tundra. I'm curious as to what is the best blower motor I can buy. Is there an upgrade to the stock blower? I live in Arizona, I could use all the fan I can get.

Glad if I can help... my preference would be oem Toyota when it comes to stuff like this. Although your hearing a sound your blower will probably last forever still, these tundras are very reliable. I’ve only replaced one on a 2007 model w 465k. And as for the air volume they all make they same as they are running at a set RPM depending on blower speed position. The tundra makes the same air volume as all other vehicles or more however if you look behind the round air vent louver there is a honey comb shaped air defuser, this is to keep the air from uncomfortably blowing on your face drying out your eyes or messing up women’s hair lol so it seems like the speed Is less than other cars but it’s actually the same just the air is coming out “defused”

I have replaced mine at least 5 times. I bought the last one from 1A Auto. They have replaced it once under warranty. This one seems to be the longest lasting one thus far.
