My 08 tundra, with 110k miles, is making low pitch growl sound. It’s noticeable starting at 45 mph, loudest at about 50mph and gets quieter after about 60. I believe it’s coming from the rear end. I changed my rear differential oil that looked good (no metal or anything). I’m leaning towards the rear axel bearings as this seems to be a fairly common issue. I’m just looking for some suggestions on how I can be sure that it’s indeed an axel bearing before getting to crazy with the project. What can I test to see if I have a bad bearing?
    Thanks in advance!

As far as I can tell when looking at the carrier bearing and everything within the driveshaft there are no issues with those bearings, but again I’m not overly sure as to what I should be looking for. I don’t get any movement out of the carrier bearing so I’m assuming that it is good.
