I have a new 2019crew max and there are numerous mice in my ceiling! What’s the best way to get into the ceiling to put poison in there?! I opened some light and I see this. I can hear them running and chewing! Help! Quickly!

There has to be a hole for the mice to get up there, put the poison in there

Be cautious about placing poison in hard to reach places in your truck, if one of this pests die and you cannot find it for a long period the smell gonna be insoportable in your cab and probably some hard to clean stains so try to find another way to get them out of the headliner.

I don't see anything in the picture that would indicate Mice! If this is a 19 CM, take that shit back to dealer and let them deal with it!!

to OP: Very random picture (or I just don't get it)....

I went to look at a brand NEW 2019 DC Limited the dealer brought in the color and features I wanted. They traded it from another dealer. Almost inked the deal but I looked the car over before they detailed it, the engine bay was full of acorns....every where! On top of the plastic engine cover, the manifold, on every horizontal surface!!! Hard pass...... Some squirrel is gonna be very disappointed this fall. So is a new Tundra owner when the electrical system starts going wacky!

The question isn't how to get into the ceiling. The question is how did they get into the ceiling! If you can't find a hole where they got in, I would suggest starting to pull the trim and attempt to remove the ceiling panels. Speaking from experience I definitely would not poison them. I had a house in Texas years ago. Nearby construction drove a bunch of mice into our neighborhood. I poisoned them and they died in the wall. It stunk for months with no way to get them out aside from removing the drywall.

    Flux capacitor!
mid you want to drop your ceiling you can. You will need a torque screw driver with to remove the front center console, mirrors, center light & the grab handles.
The upper trim pieces for all the a pillars need to be removed to drop the roof liner. After all of that is done the line can be dropped and removed from the rear fold down window. If mice are in your roof they are likely in other areas of your truck.

Get some peppermint oil, soak a few cotton balls and put them a plastic container (like a Chinese soup quart container) with the lid off and sit it on the center console. Those mice will leave the truck within a day or two.

Definitely don't use patchouli oil. The mice will leave, but you'll come back to a cab full of homeless, dirt-munching, man-bunned hippies.

Take it back to the dealer and tell them you hear something loose in the headliner. Have them disassembled it under warranty. No way you should have any thing up there. Especially anything alive.
