Ok so my 5.7 loses power steering fluid... Goes from full cold/hot to add cold/hot in a few weeks. I only drive it on the weekends.
From what I can tell, it’s leaking from the tank or the cap. I would say leaking from the cap but I’m pretty sure it leaks while shut off. So maybe the tank seam that runs around the bottom part of the cylinder.
I wiped it off best I could reach and will check again soon.

Anyone run into a similar issue?

Appears to be from return? hose/hose clamp to me. Rubber hoses get old and crack. Clamp is probably OK. If there's enough length in the hose, try expanding the spring clamp using a pair of pliers, moving the clamp up the hose 3-4 inches, cutting the hose end off 1", and reinstalling.

Well, not so fast. I just looked at my Gen3, and if the configuration is the same, you're not going to have enough hose to cut off any. You can try replacing the entire hose with auto part house hose, but the other possibility is you could have a leak where the plastic return hose nipple is attached to the reservoir (cracked?). The nipple appears to be part of the reservoir, and it is sold as any assembly. Aftermarket parts will be cheaper, but here is the Toyota listing for 2008 5.7L SR5 Tundra P/S reservoir:

Replace that section of hose. My wife's RX330 had a similar issue. It cost $2.00 and needs it anyway at this age. At least you'll know if it doesn't stop

I’m assuming the return hose is the upper one?

Correct lower is the suction to the pump. My wife's would get low enough that the pump would start whining.

That’s how I realized mine was leaking too haha. Do you know what diameter of hose you bought? Or did you buy a vehicle specific return hose?

Cut a piece off and take it to the auto parts store or measure the OD. They have it on rolls and cut off a piece for you. Just make sure it for fluids like gasoline and lubricants. Ezy peezy. Buy some regular hose clamps you use a screw driver to tighten up if you don't have the patience with those stupid clamp on ones. I can work with them but it really makes it more of PITA
