There isn't a fix for the problem, but owners will get a replacement Supra.

    Toyota
There are seven 2020 Toyota Supraowners that may need to have their cars entirely replaced. Apologies in advance if you're one of them.

I could be persuaded to take one of the effed up cars, save them disposal fees and all. You know, in the interest of being "green."

So Toyota put their reputation for reliability in their products in the hands of another company. Not sure this was such a good idea.

BMW does make some of the very best luxury high performance engines. Toyota has been logging behind for many years, in building another Supra that could compete with the GTRs, Hellcats, NSXs, and so on. That’s why they went to BMW. However, BMW doesn’t have many recalls. It’s just unfortunate for both Toyota and BMW to have this happening right now.

if there are any consolation in this case, it would be that there is only a total of 7 vehicles affected by the recall.
