2018 Smoking at startup after towing

I have recently noticed that after I tow my boat(about 5 miles) and the truck sits for a few hours after towing it blows white smoke at the next start up. It's done this twice in the last month. Every other time I start it there in no smoke whatsoever. Any ideas what this might be? Thanks!

 

It is a quirk in the pcv system. You can replicate the issue by hard acceleration within a mile or 2 of parking the truck overnite. The 5.7 will smoke a small amount on startup.

 

Weird. Doesn't seem like something a Toyota would do! My 1st Gen Tundra with 280k miles on it never smoked.

 

If you have a safe place 2 try, floor the gas thru a gearshift or 2 and within a mile or 2 park overnite. Bet you a beer a small puff of smoke on startup.

 

I'll give it a try! Went ahead and made an appointment at the dealership for next week since it's still under warranty.
