Just got a new Sequoia Limited and the chrome trim on one of the doors is coming off. Debating on asking dealer to just remove all of it so we don't worry about it any more. Is there any chance this could damage the paint or leave behind signs of the trim/glue?

Also what glue would the dealer use to fix the loose end? Can I just do this myself?

    Thanks,
