i am 77 years old and recently bought an 06 tundra, #52 of a 500 production. i sold my 13 double cab because i got tired of trying to see around the windshield pillars and the big bulky, floaty seat of pants feel. and my son has an 06 tundra which i absolutely loved. him too and he wouldn't sell it to me. i had never heard of the lucchese and consider it maybe the finest vehicle i have ever owned. stroke of luck i found it. but i would like to find a new drivers seat. mine is leather with ostrich trim. it has some wear marks and i feel that the number of miles i plan to put on it will result in cracks and eventually tears. can i buy new covers for this seat. want to keep it nice because i consider it to be collector quantity. me and my son can do the recover. anyone got a lead on this?

Your best bet is to get the seat reupholstered at a shop.

Oooof Madone, now ah-wanna ah special pizza wit anchovies for lunch. We take your loo-kay-zee to Lucca (Italy) and enjoy.

A maker of car mfgrs seat covers is katzkin. Very high quality seat covers
    https://katzkin.com/

There are few other high end quality non mickey mouse leather and fabric seat cover mfgrs out there. You won't find any high quality mfgrs seat cover product being sold by any vehicle retail outlet offering various mfg seat covers and styles. E.g. Autoanything, carid, etc, dot com retailers. Yet, some of what they offer is great for durable decent fitting seat covers they are proud to offer at a decent price. And that's what I'm looking for to put on my 1st gen Tundra seats. But your trk is sweet and deserves the best. Sell it to me after I have saved years of money!

High end seat cover manufactures will send samples of various product used, and is worth you effort to find them on the internet. Unfortunately I didn't keep the few high quality mfgrs mailed envelops with samples received after completing a personal restoration project years back.

I would do a full clean and multiple re-treatments of the leather with auto leather specific products. If it's cared for properly, it should last almost indefinitely. The problem is most people never do anything to the leather so it dries and cracks.

I would do this even if you put covers on it, to prevent them from drying out.

i was wondering if there might be a seat cover like mine somewhere in inventory. my truck is like the one pictured by cdehoyos member #30760. the seat blemish is very superficial but would like to put in a complete drivers cloth seat and preserve the leather one because they are so nice. the ostrich accents on the leather are unique and my local toyota parts man came out to see it and then several more came out. any ideas on how i might get someone who knows how to get a lead on the leather cover for drivers seat. mine is# 52 of 500 production.
