I decided the Road Armor was just not the look I wanted. Extremely heavy and just too bulky for me so I traded bumper setups with another Tundra member. After an entire weekend of swapping bumpers, painting, installing new headlights and a little bit of vinyl wrapping I think my truck is finished... for now. I am really impressed on how clean and light the N-Fab bumpers are and will probably stick with this look for awhile. I dont miss the large cow smasher other than it protected my front end much better. The Road Armor front and back bumpers weight a total of 700 lbs, the N-fab back and front weight a total of about 300 at most. The LED bar in the front N-fab is a Rough Country.

I was just about to bite the bullet and spend $1800 on the Sequoia headlight conversion when a guy on one of the Tundra facebook pages did a group discount on his new headlights. WOW! Am I glad I made that decision. I spend $308 shipped after the $70 discount for the pair. I bought the glossy black pros with the activation lights add-on which basically gives you a fancy light show when you start the truck. But what impressed me most was the brightness of the LED bars in them. I can actually see them in the daylight which many of the crap ebay ones are so dim. The brand is called AlphaRex, look them up.

My grill on the truck doesnt fit perfect as you can see by the 1" gap under it. But really its not noticeable to anyone unless I point it out. The grill is from a Sequoia. I wrapped the bezel satin black to match the plastidipped emblems look. Then I added a little white vinyl piece to the top of the grill bezel to match the body lines of the hood.

Anyways here are some pics from this past weekend of both my rides.

DIY pop n lock, 2018 LED headlights, morimoto fogs, TRD shift knob, DirtyDeeds 8"BAM exhaust, kenwood HU,JL amp, Tech12volts Tundra full speaker upgrade w/sub, Swing case, and lots of fluid film
That's looks great. I prefer your new bumpers over the old, totally transformed the look of the truck.
Those headlights are very intriguing to me, if these love to work well, stay dry, and have as good of a beam as people are saying, they will sell like crazy. Especially with the options or OEM or ridiculously expensive morimotos that have harness and condensation issues.

Great work and bad ass truck!

Looks great! Daytime (in the Phoenix sun) invisibility of the LEDS was my main compaint. I do love my Sequoia headlights though.

Not feeling that black grille surround. I think it ought to be white. Other than that your truck is freaking killer. OR buy my fancy one off grille I have listed in the classifieds and get it all done in white. I’ll make you a deal!

Ps your truck is seriously seriously clean. I like it a lot.

Thanks, appreciate it. Im still back and forth on the black grill surround.. I love it in person and then in some of the pics its "eh".. I had satin black vinyl left over so thats why I wrapped it black anyway. I may change it just to see how it looks. The black is however much better than the chrome it was before. Just checked out the grill you got for sale, as cool as it is my wife will kill me if I spend another penny right now on this truck. lol..

Are these headlights plug and play? What about adjustment and alignment

Yes I think they are pretty good. Nice and bright and feel the same quality as the stock light housings. I had a few adjustments to do on the drivers side but after 10 minutes of turning adjustment knobs I got it perfect.

They are "almost" plug and play. Your high and low beam wires are direct plug and play. The corner bulb (not turn signal) you unplug the bulb (and not use the bulb) and then plug your factory corner wire into the new headlamp. The turn signal you use the bulb and plastic piece connected to the bulb in the new housing. So yeah its all pretty much plug and play. But... hooking up the led bar inside (activator light that does the fancy startup sequence like knightrider) you need to do some wiring. But its really simple. The grey wire goes to the fuse box right by the battery, they show you what fuse it connects to on their webpage. The black and white wire goes directly the battery. And the final step is the last wire remaining that splits off into two wires goes to each headlight to actually power the LED bar inside.

So it may sound a little confusing but its actually really simple and entire process takes 15 minutes if you know what your doing (done it before) and 30 minutes if your following instructions.
