I hate that. My uncle use to get thorns in his tractor tires. I think they called them bodach or something like that. I got a patch on my pliers tire. I haven't put them back on yet. I may not. I looked at some AT3 XLT's today. I think that's what I'll end up getting for the 18's.

@Rockgate - Can I borrow those pliers? I'm still rolling on the stock tires at 49K miles just waiting for them to need replacing. I too have my Coachbuilder shims and +3 shackles sitting in the garage waiting to install them at the same time. Maybe some pliers through one of mine will get the ball rolling with my upgrades.

On a serious note, I would take this time to upgrade the tires and throw this shims/shackles on.

When I was a punk kid, my friends and I would flatten out soda cans stick nails up through and lay them in the street. Sit back and watch cars/trucks run them over and laugh are azzes off. Any flat tier sucks.:(

P rated Toyo at2 look great and are as quiet as stock. I had them for a while on 20s and you cannot tell the difference between stock and the at2's. I now have the E rated extreme at2's on my 18" rims and that is a completely different story. They are not conversation friendly on the highway
