ABS LIGHT, NO CODE

Hey Y'all,
I did the jumper from Tc to E1 Under the hood. I definitely have continuity there. But when the ignition is turned on, there is NO FLASHING light. I can't get a code if it won't flash. FYI under these conditions the airbag light does flash a code, suggesting good terminals for jumping.

Any Advice?

Think ABS requires a different scanner

Check wires for wear though.
Betting one is disconnected some place

 

I hear ya, thanks. Apparently thought there is a trick whereby a jumper is placed between Tc and Cg or Tc and E1, ignition is turned to ON and the light should flash.

No doubt it is one of the common problems, but I’d like to know which one.

Alas, no flashing abs light it just stays on, and abs doesn’t work.

 

Fill your brake fluid. There’s a low level sensor on the master cylinder that gives you an ABS light if fluid is low.

 

I had a bad connector on a sensor on mine a few years back.

 

I think on my model it lights up the parking brake light, but in any case, brake fluid is full...

That method is for pre-obd2 Toyota trucks.
