I’m getting ready to swap the 20” wheels that came on my 2019 to the new TRD Pro BBS 18” wheels. I know the stock tire that comes in the new TRD Pro is the Michelin LTX A/T 2. Trying to decide whether to go with these or something else. I’ve read the different posts on Coopers, BFG and others.

Here’s what I’m looking for in a tire:
    • Good traction on road (wet/dry)
    • Good for occasional winter driving (we go up to Mammoth a few times a year)
    • Quiet and smooth riding
    • Ability to perform mild off roading (nothing crazy at this point)
    • Quality and reliability
    • Slightly aggressive stance (not hard core off road tires, but more aggressive than the stock highway tires that came on my truck)
I’ll be on road 95%+ of the time, but want ability to go off road. I’m not going to lift or modify the truck’s suspension. I’m looking for something I can just stick on with good looks and good performance.

Does that make sense? I think the stock Michelin’s that come on the TRD Pro will probably be fine, if there is a better (but similar) tire out there, I am definitely interested. Here’s a pic of the truck as it came stock.

I was actually pretty impressed with the Nitto Terra Grappler G2's that came on mine new. Not super aggressive but better than a pure street tire. Pretty quiet and smooth, great life (I replaced them at like 58,000 miles but could have gone another 10k plus probably, just upgraded to a larger tire when i lifted my truck)
I had the regular terra grapplers on my tacoma and they were also really good

Thanks Jordan. The Nitto Terra Grapplers came on the truck stock from Toyota?
