Guys I need some input and help. I installed 6112’s last night and had several issues, but finally got to where I thought I was home free. Well I was wrong. I spent 2 hrs trying to get the sway bar reconnected to the lower control arm with no avail. It’s aligned enough to get the bolt in, but I can’t it aligned to the backside hole in the control arm. I spent hrs prying and couldn’t get it, but did manage to break the nut that was tack welded to the control arm. Any ideas would be appreciated.

To make matters worst I put shims on both passenger and driver side per recommendation from several other forum members. Well my driver side is 1/2-3/4” lower than passenger so I guess I get to redo the passenger side and take the shim off.

Pretty stressed right now and doubting my DIY abilities.

    All part of the game.
since you broke that nut back there you will have to hold it in place. you can try to fit a flat head or so to keep it from turning.
keep all 4 wheels on the ground, you can Take off the sway at the D brackets or just loosen it to have the sway more free, bolt into the lca first, then put back on dbrackets. Driver side lean is very common. If you have a shim on the passenger side just remove it you should be closer to even.

or you can just completely remove the sway.

Update - I removed skid plate and loosened up the mounting brackets to sway bar. Easy after that. Now I just have to decide if I feel like living with the driver side lean or redoing it.

Someone please tell me the rear 5160’s with shackles is easier
