Fishing line to cut badge off the adhesive, an eraser wheel to knock all the adhesive off, then Goo gone or similar product to get the residue.

Yep, didn't touch the paint at all. I did make sure to keep the line pulled against the back of the badge to limit contact with the paint.

finish with some "swirl" remover or other such ...will remove any of the "fine" srcatches the fishing line might put in there...as well as remove any "ghosting" left from the badge on the paint...

    then wax...

    should be fine...

I would also recommend heating up the badge with a hair dryer...or a heat gun ...but dont burn the paint or the badge...you want to soften the adhesive a bit.

debadged, diamondback, window tint, dirty deeds exhaust.
Rubbing alcohol works great removing the backing and sticky stuff

I used a heat gun to warm it, fishing line slightly pulled towards the back of the badge sawing back and forth, Whizzy wheel for the tarry residue, GooGone for the leftover smudges. At the beginning only OCD me saw any ghosting. After a few applications of polish/wax and a few months of UV exposure, it's like it was never there (iForce badge). So it just gets better with time, this morning:

Be careful with the eraser wheel...the clear is thin and will heat up quick...it will damage easily...I use goof off or crud cutter...dab it on the glue residue and it dissolves the glue and wipes off. No swirl marks or risk of damaging the clear.

Agree, don't have the drill on sustained hyperspeed, do it in sections and let the eraser wheel cool if it's hot to touch.

    See build thread below.
I debadged my tundra using heat, fishing line, and goo gone. It has been a few weeks now and I can’t seem to figure out how to get rid of this annoying mark left behind. When i run my hand over the area it feels completely smooth.
    Any suggestions/thoughts?

Tried claying it off? Can’t tell if residue or clear coat damage.
