Hey toyoters, i knew to the whole forum world, but geten my feet wet has been great. Ive had several toyota trucks over the years. Im down to one right now,and its a 2000 tundra. It has just over 200 thousand on it. It was having starter issues about 6 years ago, when it finally wouldnt start i rolled under it on my creaper and there was no starter. I thaught no wonder, someone jacked my starter. Hahahahaha. Unfortunately i learned it was located between the block and intake(pulenum). So i pulled the injector racks and everything else to change the starter. And its lifted about 5 inches. Not fun. Also ive had two coils go out,and both balljoints break. If you have a lift i recomend changing the balljoints to balljoints you can grease, especially if it has some miles on it when you lift it. The second one broke when i was goin approx 80 mph on a back road, and that was a heck of a ride. image.jpg Sorry its a photo of a old photo. I have some of when the balljoint broke ill have to find and post later. It had fabtech on it when i baught it, and aftermarket headers that have broke a bunch of times and ive welded. The cab mounts have bent just like come to find out its comon. Im sure it didnt help ive skided alot of logs/trees with it. It wouldnt surprise me if the frame is twisted some. If so ill weld down one side and jack up wherever needed. Lol. And if the engine ever goes im goon to put a diesel in it with a 6 speed. I had a t-100 for a few four years and those are great trucks.
