3 in lift, 2in wheel spacers. Tinted all the way around Stock platinum wheels and tires
Ever since i installed my 3 in lift, i noticed that the ride is more rigid. I think it may be the shocks.

Do you have any suggestions to get my ride smoother?

    Thanks

Pretty much every lift will ride stiffer than stock.
Details about your suspension would be helpful

Unless you have a coilover valved softer than stock, zero 3 inch lifts will ride as smooth as stock.

It’s not just the shock, its the angle on the arms

Not sure what type of 3 inch kit your are using, But I would try these for a smoother ride. They come in a 3 inch and a 6 inch size utilizing your factory OEM coils and the ride is like stock.

Call me crazy and maybe im wrong, but who in the quality control room let RC print the word STRUT on a shock? Those words get incorrectly used interchangeably so often, but a company that makes suspension components should know better right?

I used the word lifted Strut when I purchased these exact shocks and everyone was like are you an idiot. Lol at the time I was like it's right on them what do y'all want from me I'm a plumber. Haha they do ride really nice though . So RC can call them what ever they want to lol

Ive seen our setup referred to as a “strut” even by manufacturers.

I believe that our trucks use a shock not a strut technically. I always thought a strut was a more integrated suspension pieces. For example on a honda civic, the strut is holding the suspension together and not just dampening.

on our setup you could in theory remove the shock and spring entirely and the truck could still cycle the a arms just fine

But the truck is immobile without them.

Yeah. But a McPherson strut type setup wouldn't be able to even mount a wheel Without the strut in place

"pretty much" is correct but not all. there are options out there that offer hand tunable coilovers where ride is completely adjustable even with hand turnable knobs so you can adjust kinda on the fly, no tools. you still have to get out of the truck.

i went with the 0-3" fox stage 4 ultimate kit which has 2.5" and 2.0" coils with dsc. better than stock and incredible comfy ride when i want....off road capable also when i want.

i'd recommend contacting boss offroad. some really good peeps that will listen and offer suggestions based on your priorities. unlike 4wd parts where everyone i've spoken with there are condescending and think their poop don't stink.

    good luck op.
