I have no idea how I'm just discovering this thread. I feel like I've failed myself for the past year.

Surely, in 108 pages, someone has posted this brew. Cracked it open just so I could post here

Must be good I've had 3 so far. I'm also speaking in bold font for some reason...

Our Pumpkin Lager is one of the few pumpkin lagers available in the world. Real pumpkin and pie spice join Munich and caramel malts in our brewhouse, then lager for four weeks in our cellar, and come together with all the flavors of a lush pumpkin pie. The crisp lager profile and medium body let cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and candied yam flavors meet the nutty, toasty malt base. No need for whipped cream.

Our Pumpkin Ale recipe uses REAL Pumpkins from a sustainable farm, Stahlbush Island Farm. Along with 3,000 pounds of real pumpkin, we also use cinnamon, allspice, cloves, ginger to spice and flavor this beauty. It doesn’t get more authentic than that!

My take, more pumkin, more spice, less fluff. Smells like beer and tastes like an amber ale. Meh, I had higher hopes I reckon.

 

Does anyone know of a good triple that's heavy on the raisins in terms of flavour? Denver area.

 

Last time I had anything like that, I was in Germany and it was a triple bock made in Lingries, Bavaria.

 

Had this last weekend, not my style but was enjoyed. Some spot in San Diego called Pure Project, I think this was called cloudy mountain or some hippie shit.

I'm out of beer now so I'll hit my local brewery, Enegren, to pick something good up.

 

@ColoradoTJ @T-Rex266 is this a legit product of your environment? Picked up a mixed box of Colorado beer. This one should have came with some Colorado agriculture too.

 

It wasn't bad. Trying a different one and I see a trend here.

 

There definitely better Colorado beers.

 

Had some good recommendations on untapped. Sounds like I need to get myself to Germany!

 

When you do make sure you're down south in Bavaria or Schwabischlund (Central Germany) around Stuttgart. People are nicer, prettier country and better food, beer.
Most towns and cities have their own breweries.

 

I think I have gone through my phase of chasing the most gnarly IPA I could find, or the tastiest or the bitterest or what have you. Since I spend so many weekends in San Diego (brewery Mecca) I've drank it all. I've gone back to just beer, I prefer a tasty pale ale these days over the crazy shit people come up with trying to reinvent the wheel.

The first one was real mild but a nice warm up. Second one was better even though I don't like citrus beer. Not bad stuff but surely not premium, then again the price was right. I'm hoping to visit Colorado next year, I have a sister there somewhere. Tell you what, this beats the hell out of Floridas beer.
