The worst part is all the guys saying “the only people complaining are the hobbyists. I’m a professional detailer so this works perfect for me because I use it all before it goes bad. Nothing beats the price”.

I bet these guys are charging their customers a premium for applying this bs coating.

Plenty of guys saying that “even if you only get half a bottle that’s usable, it’s still a bargain”.

I highly doubt that the part that is still liquid is actually the coating. The liquid that remains is likely just the water or whatever is used as a carrying agent. The actual coating is what’s crystallized. They’re paint 39 bucks to wipe water over someone’s car.

I think you're right in that people don't want to admit they wasted their money. I mean I'm embarrassed I wasted mine, but I own my mistake and will do whatever I can to prevent someone else from repeating my mistake.

I gave Scott multiple chances and plenty of time for him to fix this. He simply will not admit the stuff he sold me is no good and has yet to offer a resolution

Isn't it unreal how many people are reporting crystalized material, but in the same breath, they say it's so good.
I love how some say it's so good, but use it up fast before its unusable. Wtf is wrong with people, do they know this is not normal?

The way I see it is that if its can't survive (loses its chemical composition and stability) in a week in it's own container, how long can it really be expected to survive on the paint of your car.

I didn't even think of this earlier. But I will tell you that I put in several hours, actually days into paint correction on my truck and I feel like I see more (new) defects since applying shield. It's very possible that it was starting to crystallize during the application. Some have reported unopened freshly delivered bottles have crystals in them, but these people say that's okay cuz its inexpensive and such an awesome coating

Yeah, I wanted to respond to a lot of the posts, but kept my mouth shut so I wouldn’t get kicked out. Too bad Scott is such a douche. He actually does have some good information in his earlier videos.

What company has a private Facebook page anyway? That’s a pretty huge red flag, and I’ve never seen such a thing before. No legit business would put a roadblock in front of a customer gaining access to them.

They’ve turned off the comments for the post @Pudge got banned on now. Also, the OP has edited their post to say that it was a misunderstanding. Now he loves the product, but was sad that some got wasted, BUT STILL A GREAT DEAL! You think maybe Scott paid him or gave him some free stuff in exchange for the edit? The OP even mentions that he got his Tacoma done with the product.......:(

I need to make a fake account now, the short time I was there I found it extremely entertaining. The ignorance is sublime over there, these people seem brainwashed.
A few of the guys at tacomaworld who are into detailing are following along with this Facebook page for me and throwing in a few jars too :)
Steve, Jim, Jason ..... imagine getting a bottle of my syrup, at full price of course lol, and it arrives crystalized and will ferment in a week, but saying that's fine because it was a decent deal and you'll just eat it fast to beat the fermentation process. And then imagine me selling syrup knowing it's going to crystallize and just not caring about the consumer who just gave me their hard earned money. I can't imagine doing business like that. Not a great analogy the way its written lol, but I'm not smart enough to come up with much else, even this idea I stole from Steve, who worded it much better

This is the one that I really feel the need to respond to, both toward the product itself, and the “detailer” who needs advice on what to do since he can’t get DPC Shield.
Funny enough the guy who did my ceramic responded and recommended CQuartz. I wasn’t satisfied with his work, but at least he knows the right product to use...

Apparently I have won my dispute with PayPal.....but DPC is requiring that i return the merchandise from the transaction. What do you guys think? I'm happy to mail it back, but i assume I have to cover that cost. This is so ridiculous.
