Adding a back-up camera to 2011 base model. How big a deal?

First a big thank you for adding me and for all the welcoming messages! Much appreciated, I find the site full of useful information.

I would like to add a back-up camera to my truck for all those safety reasons. Kids and dogs everywhere these days. Is it a big deal? Seems like the one accessory I constantly miss.

If I missed a link to such an add-on, please advise.

Your going to have to check in the rear kind of between the the rear bumper and the bed underneath on the passenger side there should be a plug attached to the rear frame section that is capped. If it’s there then you should be golden!!
You’ll have to order the tailgate handle and the rear view mirror then it’s pretty much plug and play. I got mine off eBay. Forget the name of the set. They weren’t OEM but it works pretty nicely
