Just put in my order for cement front and back

 

Ordered some white front bumper caps. Looks like a easy install too. Haven't done anything to the Fundra in a while, so adding less chrome it is.

 

Just received my order and the color seems to be a shade off. @EC1 can I get some help with this?

Doesn’t look that off in the pic. There is no way to get it 100%. There are different variations to each color. The best way to get your color close is to buy bare ones and take it to a local shop and have them match them to your truck.

 

Anybody order the gloss white? How does it match toyotas super white? Any pics?

 

Apologies - but no way am I sorting through 89 pages worth of stuff for the answer to my question...call me lazy

I have the bumpershellz mocked up on my Tundra - but the fog light assembly edges are covered...which (should) means that when/if I need to replace my fog lights, I’ll have to remove the bumper cover. Given the adhesive on the back of the bumpershellz, this doesn’t seem possible.

Am I missing something?

 

Cement is by far the most difficult color to match truck-to-truck, there are varying amount of blue undertones in each variation of the prime color code. What we did is gather data from different dealerships, and chose a variation of the color code that was the closest match to the greatest number of trucks. That's the fun of paint matching for you. That being said, shoot me a message if you are super unhappy with the match, and I'll see what we can do!

I think you got it. Our cover overlaps the fog bezels so that you don't need to remove the bezels when you do the installation. It is possible to take to cover off. It just takes a plastic pry tool... and some patience lol. When you reinstall them, buy some 3M adhesive tape from an auto shop and attach it relatively near where the original pieces are, or scrape off the old stuff and install it over those areas.

I went a head and ordered the covers I'll post up pictures of how it matches when they come in. Anything close will be better than the chrome

 

I think that is a great idea. I'd like one for Sunset Mica Bronze. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge.

 

Mine are out for delivery today; I bought the TPO for my cement tundra. I was thinking of the color matched but as much as I like the cement color, that was just TOO much. I think the black will blend well with the bumper.

 

So are these the same or similar to the Bumper covers sold on Sparks Toyota?
I am asking because I saw a Youtube video of some bumper covers and how they are installed that were purchased from Sparks

 

Need to know how much for the super white bumper covers for 2016 Tundra .

If you look closely there’s a slight variation from the super white but I honestly thought the match was just about spot on and I can’t tell the difference from a few feet away. Others might be more OCD but the match works great for me
