Been lurking here for a bit while I've been trying to find my own Tundra. Finally picked one up last night!

08 SR5 w/TRD package, 130k (a little higher than I wanted but from what I hear it's "just been broken in lol"), 5.7L, 4x4, stock 18" wheels with some Grabbers.

Need to lift it and do wheels/tires. Just can't decide between spacers/UCA's or coilovers/UCA's lol. Not needing to lift it sky high, just a moderate lift, 3-4" or so.

Anyways, I love it so far! The engine feels and sounds healthy as hell!

I had an OME lift on my 08 Liberty. LOVED it. Moved to a Rubicon Wrangler and picked up a Metalcloak 4.5" full suspension lift. Drove like a Cadillac off-road, best money I spent on that Jeep. They still have a pic of my jeep on their website on the TJ suspension page. Hence why I was leery about the spacers, I know what it does to suspension/driveshaft angles lol.

Only thing I don't like about the OME lifts is that it's a 2.5". I was trying to get at LEAST 3" up front, if not more.

Haha. I know I'd likely regret it, just trying to justify the price of suspension lifts after picking this up lol!

I thought all the TRD's came with that nifty dual exhaust, but the more I researched I found out that some do? And some don't? Oh well, one more part to add to the list. I drove a couple with the actual Toyota TRD duals and loved the sound. Not too loud, no drone, but sounded great if you got on it.

Haha! If they did, I know it wasn't my back account that said it!

Moving to Montana, hence the new purchase, but I doubt I'll be doing any "off-roading." Dirt roads there, and stuff, and mostly wanting to lift it to get a little more ground clearance, but I won't be zooming thru any dunes or anything so I'm trying to find something that will work without breaking the bank. Toytec seems to be a viable option, but seems like they're backordered on their BOSS coilovers for who knows how long.

Toytec is a good choice. It sucks that the coilovers are on backorder. Hope it gets figured out soon.
