My crewmax is on TV!

Im actor on Hawaii 5.0 and Magnum P.I and today we used my silver 13 Crewmax in our scene.

An extra also had his 2014+ silver DC in the scene as well.

For some reason knowing my truck has been on tv, if only barely, seems so cool. I’ve always thought movie cars were so interesting.

Episode 6 season 2 of Magnum PI.

Look in the background behind the back hoe and you might see our trucks.

Not sure yet on how they’re gonna cut the takes, so who knows.

I’m the foreman by the bobcat.

I thought those looked like the Ko’olau Mountains…beautiful. Hope you enjoy the time there. I was only there for 7 seven years, but really grew to love the culture there.

Out in Oahu now and I’m seeing yotas everywhere!!!mostly lifted tacomas but liking it!Ton of 1st tundras also

 

Hawaiians love their tacomas! My wife and I used count them on the way to somewhere but that got old quick lol!

There’s even more on Kauai. I swear every third vehicle you see is a Tacoma

Considering how many times vehicles have been recycled and the number of vehicles in filming, a bunch of us have probably had at least pieces from one of our vehicles on film in a round about way. Just food for thought on this topic. Kinda crazy to think you might be buying part of your old high school ride again when you buy yourself a ride at age 60.

 

The tv shows are reboots of Hawaii 5.0. and Magnum PI. I was only in 1 episode of 5.0. My truck was in the background of an episode of Magnum. I forget which episode we were filming but it was toward the end of season 2.

 

One of my old surfing buddies grew up in Hawaii, and his Dad occasionally had small parts in the original Hawaii 5-0, usually a cop or bank guard with a few lines.

It was really cool to be watching old reruns and see him out of the blue. '
