Looking forward to being here. Finally got a Tundra. My 1st truck and am loving it, (except for the trips to the gas station :spending:)

2015 5.7, SR5 crew cab with leather seats, Texas edition, 20-in rims. My next move is to find a folding bed cover that doesn't leak.

    Welcome from Houston area!

Believe all folding covers will leak at some point in time. Maybe not much but inevitable.

    Back at ya.

Interesting I was looking at the Bakflip and noticed that the 1 and 2 star reviews complained about the leaking. The I started noticing even the 4 and 5 star reviews mentioned that they liked the product but still mentioned they leaked. I'm in no hurry as of now. But a cover is on my bucket list.

Hard tonneau or full (camper) shell best bet for keeping dry.

Depending on what you keep back there the folding may be ok. The amount of water that gets in is rarely enough to hurt things but surely will find the things you want to keep dry. Plastic totes and bins can help with that.

    Good Luck!

Welcome from Connecticut! Don't sweat the gas money. just think of all those prius drivers that get pissed off when they see you driving your truck. It's money well spent. :D

I was in Lake Charles the other night and there was about every flavor of Big 3 trucks in the hotel parking lot where contractors were staying overnight. They all looked like boxes on wheels. Hands down the Tundra has much better styling. One of my customers is TMMTX and see the trucks being produced on the lines. Had to support my customer

A dumb question. But what is the purpose for the power rear window? It's not like the seats fold down to make more cargo space.
