Hi everyone. Name is Rick and I recently purchased an 07 Tundra CrewMax. Ive done a few mods myself and the rest of the mods were done as I purchased the vehicle (from a friend that does truck mods for a living here locally). Long story short ive always wanted a Toyota truck ever since I was kid from seeing Marty's truck in the movie Back to the Future. Plus I needed a hauler to bring my show car to shows here in the midwest. This truck for most its life didn't see many winters as it was used to pull a 30+ foot Baja boat and was stored with the boat during off seasons. Its in near perfect shape and I got an extremely great deal on it from the friend that sold it to me. Here is a list of mods I have and will be adding soon. My road armor bumper had a bunch of nice PIAA lights and I removed all of those (PIAA lights will be for sale).

    - Blacked out emblems
    - Bushwacker flares
    - Upgraded tow mirrors and painted white
    - Upgraded grill
    - Road Armor front and rear bumpers
    - Custom painted headlight housings with LED Halo rings and LED lights
    - Tinted tailights
    - A couple painted interior pieces
    - Custom 3.5" speaker pods and 6" speaker pods for the doors
    - 13 speaker JL audio system with 3 amps, new Alpine ILX-207 deck.
    - Brand new 22 x 12 Fuel Maverick two piece rims with new 37" Toyo Open Country M/T tires.
    - 9" suspension lift
    - Compustar security system
    - New brakes, rotors, and pretty much new everything under the truck
    - Tinted windows including the front windshield
    - AMP power steps
    - Tune with air compressor bypass
    - Cold air intake, upgraded larger alternator and many more new engine components.
    - Headrest monitors with DVD for the kiddo
    - Hard folding tonneau cover

    Mods coming soon..
    - soon wrapping the chrome grill surround black
    - soon wrapping the door handles white
    - Weathertech floor mats
    - LED light bar (replacements for the PIAA lights it did have)
    - 2-3" body lift
    - Upgrade headlights to the 2018 Sequoia set

Thanks everyone! Its been an amazing truck and I was in shock when I learned my rear window rolls down!! haha. The gas mileage of course sucks as my daily driver but I only have to drive 6 miles to work each day so not to big of a deal. Im sure when I pull my car on the trailer to car shows the mileage will be insanely terrible. Im also shocked on how much my truck changes when pushing the tow button. Its almost like it gives me 100 more whp.. maybe that has to do with the Tune.. idk. lol My biggest issue right now is everyone flashes their brights at me or flips me off because my insanely bright headlights are always right in their face. oops.. it is what it is.

I worked in Cedar Falls, Iowa for four years. That thing should handle y'all's snow drifts pretty well.

Not seeing regearing in intro. With 37's some regear with 488s or 529s to help driveabilty.

It may have been regeared, great point and Ill ask my friend who owned it before me. Otherwise have any links to a good set to buy. Im guessing 529s for 37's?

Have not done, several threads on here discussing. Seems many have 488s, and some have 529s for 37s or larger.

Just talked to my friend I bought the truck from and this is what he said. "That's why I tuned it to change shift points it has the big gears" Its been pulling a 35' Baja boat up and down hills since 2007 and still drives like new so it should be good. Ill still look into what it will cost for a 5:29 setup. Maybe do the work myself.

Anyone looking for some aftermarket wheels and located near Michigan take a look. I replaced the all black ones with the brushed aluminum and black wheels and don't need the all black ones anymore. Just doing some mods and pulled them off for what I have now.
