Even though I didn't have a problem with my 2018 crewmax installing the remote start, this comment will keep me as a customer for a long time!

18 and 19 only if your door is not locking back
ok so apparently this only on certain 18 and 19s . Not all of them . here is the fix without shipping it back. if you do not want to splice in this wire I will need to get them back and reprogram but i need to test the new software first .

If you want to fix it your self here is what you do :
here is the fix without shipping back . the white wire in the small white plug with all extra wires in it can be hooked up to the door lock white wire in kick panel of the truck and it will fix this . pic of both attached

So, I got it all hooked up. Worked perfect the first time, and now it won’t do it? Do I need to program, again?

Talked to James. Needs a software update. He’ll send me a new one.
He replied to my email in 2 mins, then followed it with a phone call in attempt to troubleshoot it. Customer service 10/10

So it's not really splicing right? Just tap into the white power lock wire?

Also, if I wanted to send module back for Software update...do I have to undo all the cabling or can I just unplug the module?

A splice will take 15 minutes. So if you're comfortable splicing into the TPMS wire then you should be comfortable doing this fix. If you do use a quick splice I would recommend the posi-taps, they're quite a bit better than the regular quick splices.

And guys YOU WILL NEVER BE LEFT IN THE DARK BY US!!! If we sell you something we will not just say screw it and let something not work correctly . Some of the JBL amps had issues when using high level amps I researched for weeks how to fix it trying all kind of stuff as JBL was no help at all and we found the solution. That solution cost me 25 dollars per amp which was more than i made on each amp but i sent everyone what they needed for free and just took the loss. Not patting myself on the back as That is how you are suppose to treat customers

Hey guys, I talked to James and he walked me through his solution for the 2018s that wouldn't lock. It worked! I'll post in about an hour or two pictures and the solution. I have to run out, but be back shortly. Sorry to leave you hanging.

ok so here is the fix for 18 and 19 Tundras if your doors are not locking back after start. now be aware this module is programmed to lock the doors back after you stop the remote start . so after you turn the truck off if you are not driving it it will lock the doors . You will see what i am talking about . Just do not close the door with the keys in the truck while testing it .

take the white wire on the harness we sent you that had all the wires you are not using. The orange wire we connected to the harness for you is in this same white harness . connect that white wire to the black wire in the harness pictured above that we sent you . Its the 2nd black wire from the end and its on the opposite side as where we connected the orange disarm for you . does not matter how you connect the two wires as long as they are connected and the black wire is still connected together also. you can positaps. solder or do like i did in the picture and strip the wire back and tape . your truck will now lock the doors back after remote started

OK, he beat me to it. Here's what I've got. James, correct anything if need be. EDIT: The third photo has been updated to point to the correct wire. You can see the splice (better view in the forth picture), but that's the correct wire. When you're looking for it, make sure the connector is facing the same way as in the picture, then it's the second black wire from the right.

That’s second to last picture you have an arrow pointing on the wrong side right because you tapped the right side of the picture but you have an arrow on the left side. Sorry I just wanna make sure before I try it
