Sanity check please on reasonable price of used SR5

Well I had to join to learn more before making a buy. My 2010 F150 will be the trade.

I'm looking at these two SR5's cause I will be getting dirty and sweaty reducing the hog population and being out on the range,. honing those skills. Wife's 4Runner already dressed to the 9's so cloth seat w/ seat covers will be perfect.

So I have found two that appeal to me and will last me a long time. Average ownership for me is about 8-10 years.

IF they seem to be too high please offer a suggestion of what would be reasonable. I can haggle with Ford products since I've owned them for over 24 years but now making the cross over to Toyota have no idea about the market, what owners average on their buys etc.

So seasoned insight will be greatly appreciated.

Why buy used... These things hold their value and you can get a new one for as much or less.

 

I bought mine during truck month and paid less than both of those, 4x4, tss, sr5, 4x4, crewmax with leather. There is a ton of wiggle room on the price of these trucks.

 

Yep.....just saw my local dealer on line prices and he has blue and red as well.......hm....wife has nautical blue 4runner.


Funny how one can get side tracked until others point to the obvious. So I went to my local dealer website and sure nuff.......to close to keep looking at a preowned.

Traded my ford in at dealer in 07.got a sr5 long bed for $23k out the door.still got it and still loving this truck.one tip go with 20inch rims cause 18s are super close to calipers if you do rims.

 

Just got my order in for a 14' Barcelona Red cloth seats 4x4, CM, SR 5 TSS Pkg with black 20" rims & r/boards.
$39k & change will pick up this coming Friday......sad to see my Lariat go it has been flawless performance wise. But life moves on and in my new retired life will need a 4x4 for getting into the hog domiciles in order to reduce their population!...lol

the 5.0L, aluminum body and electronic steering was not a sell for me. So still a FORD fan BUT after driving wifes' 4 Runner, I'm quickly becoming a Toyo-fan as well!!!

Frank I was wondering about mpg but your point on the 20's make good sense and yes this pkg. comes with 20's. Lord willing should have pics posted up late next week. Still have work shop to finish setting up and a reload bench to build oh and rip contractor carpet and install bamboo floors..... will it ever (slow) down????....lol...and get a chance to hunt???????

 

The dealer hit a home run and found exactly what I was looking for.
Coming from a 5.4L to this it is a lot of fun to drive. Can't wait to go down to the Guadalupe river bottom to harvest the fat sows and boars. The 4wd should be a blast.


Really like the tan cloth seats kinda flat dark earth will match my MP9 VTac!


So now having my retirement truck I can mod without worrying about future trade ins woo hoo...first mod CB with SSB....
