I bought one; tried hooking it up and wouldn’t respond to any commands. It powers on just fine but Touchscreen didn’t respond, microphone wasn’t detected and maps wouldn’t load. Not sure if I did something wrong (doubtful as there is only one way to install it), but I can’t use it. May just not be compatible with my model truck.

 

Can you post a picture of it? It should work. Is the map card in the radio?

Yes it’s in; not sure why it isn’t working. I tried twice. The original radio and all functions work perfectly once I reinstalled the old one (microphone, touch screen, etc all work fine). So it is either an incompatible radio or something is damaged internally in the radio.

 

Where did you get it from?

 

A member on the forum. Said it worked when he removed; have no reason to believe otherwise. I am going to see if I can troubleshoot later this week when I have time, but not looking good as I have tried it twice already. I am hopeful that is is something as simple as one of the plugs may have not been seated properly.

 

Wonder if it was dropped during shipping?

Where or how is the map card installed?

 

Behind the map card button; the button flips down and it’s push style like an as card in a camera or phone
